Values-based recruitment, which is practiced by all National Panhellenic Conference organizations, focuses on meaningful conversations between collegiate members and Potential New Members with the goal of recruiting women who will have a positive impact on chapters and the Panhellenic community. When a chapter uses Pi Phi's six core values as the foundation on which they recruit their members, a focus is placed on conversation and creating a sincere connection with each woman that walks through the door.
What Pi Beta Phi stands for is not a secret! Our values are included in our mission statement, our tagline and throughout our Ritual. Examples of Pi Phis living our values in their daily life can be found all over our social media, The Arrow® and throughout each chapter.

What to wear: Look nice, but don't wear anything too uncomfortable! Think you're going on a nicer outing with your family or out to brunch with your grandma.
Note: Unlike some other schools, we run our recruitment process once school's already started (so no need to move to Williamsburg early). We also have schoolwork in mind; though recruitment is definitely a long and tiring commitment, there's plenty of time for homework and socializing with some good ol' time management. And as students who've made it through recruitment, we can say it's totally worth it :)
